    Saw you post and just wanted to comment about that game. Are you sure it was 1956? I saw a two homer game by Williams on TV. I believe Bill Monbouquette was pitching and it was a scorcher day. Bill came up twice before Williams and reacted like he did not want to be at bat. Unfortunately for him he was walked both times before Teddy hit the two three run homers. I will never forget that game.

    Yes. being a jock myself I understand that dealing with pressure is tough and if you don't have the intestinal fortitude you shouldn't be out there.

    Kimbrel is a choker pure and simple. When you start choking all your fundamentals go to hell.

    Watched the game replay last night. Even though I knew the outcome, the ninth inning made me very anxious. Was Kimbrel drunk? He was all over the place. Hope he pitches better in the next series.

    Looks like we may well be the Yankees bitches again this year. The Sox look lifeless and if they get swept by the Yankees in this series it will not do well for their psyche.

    Every year since 1958 I have been wondering if I would ever see the Red Sox win 100 games. They finally did it! Amazing!
