Putting an unknown at closer, isn't that what they've done all season so far? I would like to see a move like this actually work for us, but if it doesn't work out I guess we'll be looking forward to Bailey's return even more. Personally I think if they liken him to Bard so much, he'll end up being a setup man.

I imagine that his numbers are going to start looking much much better soon, especially since pitchers are going to have to pitch to him with Ortiz behind him, and if Ortiz stays as hot as he is right now, they just won't have a choice.

My guess would be Bard to the pen, or Buch to the bench.. Send down someone like Thomas. I don't think however they are going to make this move, Cook will be on another roster by May 2nd.
