    Might be tough, Baltimore has a decent pitcher going tonight. Price has been rock solid this year I just wish he would go more than 5 innings. We need a sweep here with Tampa and New York coming up. Absolutely can't afford to lose to this crap team.

    Exactly. It's good to speculate and spit stats and talk about the "what ifs, and what could" But he is in the bullpen this weekend so we will have our answers soon.

    Agreed! We have guys in the bullpen that are pretty solid outside of the 9th inning. If Eovaldi can close games out I honestly think we have some solid pitching. Very curious to see how rusty Eovaldi will be. He's been off for quite a while, coming back to a closing role is a lot of stress.... hopefully he is up for the challenge.

    Lets sweep Baltimore so we can hurry up and start this stretch with Tampa and New York. That in my opinion is what will make or break us.

    If Tampa didn't have the best pitching they would be a train wreck. Their pitching has saved them all year but it will catch up to them come playoffs. Yes you need good pitching to win a Championship but unless the bats pick up for Tampa they will be swept in the playoffs.

    Starting to think Tampa really doesn't want to see the Yankees in the playoffs lol.

    He easily could have gone 7, I don't know why Cora didn't let him have another inning. But Walden was solid so it didn't matter.
