  1. Dress it up anyway you want, but he does it in an insulting way as if he is rooting for our failure..... Again he is a Yankees fan so I understand that is very natural but I just find it odd to come on another teams board and do it. Much different than us criticizing a player for not playing up to expectations. Completely different. Anyway this is a pointless argument. You like him and he isn't going anywhere so let's move on.
  2. It’s finally here!!!!! The rivalry takes place on our turf. Don’t embarrass us! Win!! P.S Rick you are due for a good game. Please... stop hurting me like this. All my love, Tyler
  3. Having an opinion and being confident is one thing, but it gets annoying how much he hopes Boston will fail.... "Eovaldi will fail and I will be eating popcorn watching it" OR whatever he said. I get there is a rivalry here no doubt, but what is the point in going to another board to be insulting and say "I will watch this player fail" He has said many things like this but I am too lazy to go back and find them all and paste them. Again I am not saying he is not knowledgeable because he is, but he is still ignorant at the best of times. With that said I could care less if he is on the board or not.
  4. He seems obnoxious to me..... Maybe I have a short memory but I just don't recall him being on the board much the last couple years, of course because the Yanks are having a good season and the Sox are struggling he seems to be posting a ton and generally seems cocky about the Yanks.... That is what makes me not like opposing fans. I am on the Houston Texans board and I am not arrogant what so ever even though the Colts own the Texans. Jacko is definitely an intelligent person I will give him that, but he is still irritating.
  5. Exactly my point. It’s not really living in the past when you’re currently the defending champs.
  6. Ya 3rd time is a charm!
  7. A healthy Houston team that is hot would be a very tough match for the Yankees..... That would actually be a fun series to watch come playoffs.
  8. Ya you're right..... Good chance Houston will take it this year.
  9. Still the defending champs till otherwise
  10. This offense and coaching staff choke hard once again against good pitching. Why bother making the playoffs. We will face good pitching.
  11. Pitching was not the problem today at all. Offense we stunk.
  12. Had more runs yesterday than we have hits today.
  13. That's why the stats are padded so bad for us this year. We can produce big and I mean BIG runs against average to s*** pitchers..... But anytime we come against a decent pitcher we crumble. Yes I know that is why they are good pitchers but last year it didn't seem to matter. We produced runs at will.... This year if we are against an Ace you know we will hit 2 runs tops. It's frustrating.
  14. Agreed, was hoping he would go shut out today or close to because I figured we wouldn't get many runs but it is what it is. He has given us a chance today and went 6 so that is all I ask for. Not his fault this s***** pen will come in and likely blow it all to hell.
  15. Damn. Spoke too soon. Need some runs
  16. Looks like Price is having a solid day so far.
  17. I really hope this isn't the new norm for Price, go 5 innings.
  18. We need good Price today...... I am fine with never seeing that last start from him ever again. Lets win this!
  19. What!?!? It's a day game, I forgot. Someone create the thread dammit
  20. I hate to admit this because I hate the Yanks but they have been fun to watch this year. Same last year with the Chiefs in the NFL, I can't stand them and their stupid fans but they were entertaining as hell last year. yankees have produced some damn good entertaining baseball this season.
  21. Didn't Cora said he will pitch from the bullpen and eventually be our closer, or something to that effect? I for one didn't think Nathan was coming back right into the closing role. At least give him a couple games to get his feet wet before throwing him into that role.
