Ya I thought after yesterday that Devers would come alive. He had a couple nice hits, but oh well he will come around. He came up big yesterday, he will turn it around. E Rod going tomorrow.

No kidding Funny you mention that. My buddy and me were arguing the other day because he said Marlins made it. I didn’t think so and then I checked. I have no memory of them making it lmao ridiculous. They even beat the Cubs haha!!!!

I didn’t even know half the guys in our pen hahahaha. I was definitely not feeling good about this team but holy s*** they’re surprising me.

Oh fellas, be nice! I still don't know where I hold my feelings. I will say that this series was fun as hell!!!! But it's waaaaaay too early to tell how we will do. Eovaldi has been awesome, but his track record says he will either get hurt or have a bad stretch at some point, Houck is still a rookie, Richards was garbage in his start, Pivetta (ummm no idea who he is so can't comment) and Perez is Perez..... a 5th starter..... Our bullpen has been beautiful which is fun, but I have my doubts this rotation can keep playing this good (I really really hope they do, and I will eat crow if they do) even with E-Rod coming back. Offensively though, we are doing what I thought we would. Hitting some beautiful balls. Vaz has been awesome, JD as well. Company is following, everyone is hitting. I will say, I really like that Phillips Valdez and Sawamura. If this pitching can continue this way, we easily have a shot at competing for this division, but.... that is a big IF.

The third ingredient has been pretty decent so far outside of Richards.... Not sure it will last or not, but as of right now the pitching has been pretty solid. If we had any sort of offense in the Baltimore series, we would be 6-0 right now.

Yup! There has been a fire lit under him! And the start by Eovaldi, 12 innings and only 2 earned runs.... Really stepping up big with E Rod and Sale out.
