F this pitching staff. 3 straight games without 5 innings pitched and 5 straight without going 6 innings.

He dropped a fairly easy liner that would have had bedard out of the inning but then ended up costing the sox 3 runs and possibly bedard going at least 5 innings. I am not blaming him on the fact that after it, Bedard couldn't get anyone out but that error lead to 3 runs.

What happened to his splitter? He had Reimold 0-2 where is the splitter to put him away? Why doesn't he throw it anymore?

There is plenty of blame to go around for this team. When you have 2 starters in your rotation for the entire season with well over 5.00 eras it is a miracle we are in this spot. Theo gets blown all the time for 2004 and some of his signings. He deserves a lot of the blame here. For some god for saken reason we have a bench consisting of guys like D. McDonald, Jason Varitek, and Aviles. We are strapped because of horrible signings ( Crawford, JD Drew, Lackey ). We have s*** in the bullpen besides Aceves, Bard (who has been downright pathetic for the past month), and Paps. Despite all of our injuries this year, at the deadline he goes out and gets oft injured Erik Bedard. Players need to earn their paychecks, this year only a few of them have (Ortiz, Agone, Ells, Pedroia, Beckett). They need to be held responsible, the manager needs to be held responsible for his part in terms of dumb in game moves (we know Francona has made a butt load of them this year). And we need to look at the top, if it wasn't for so many horrendous contracts and moves, we would have a stronger roster suited for the long haul.

Man when is baseball going to get with the times and use replay for fair or foul balls instead of just fair our foul homeruns?

Daniel Bard is so f***ing overrated it is sickening.

Can someone just put him out of his misery? He has had no business being an MLB starter for at least 3 years now.

What was he supposed to do? The guy stumbled over a bullpen mound that for some s***** reason is on the field of play.

This game is on Francona and Bard. Bard clearly didn't have it when he walked the bases loaded. The fact that Papelbon wasn't even up warming up is a complete joke.

god our Pen has so many pathetic pitchers. Albers and Wheeler both suck ass, we only have two decent options with Bard and Papelbon.

Francona deserves heat for this loss but Bard has to develop a change up or a 2 seam fastball. His 4 seamer is far too straight.

Rich Hill absolutely should have been brought in to face Brantley. Big time blunder by Tito.

Bard is way way overrated... he throws straight as an arrow and throws way too many fastballs.
