how about walk a guy at least instead of giving up your fourth home run of the game. come on this just continues to get worse

he has shown in spring trainings and some serious prospect but unable to translate to the field is exactly what I mean. This guy has been highly touted and has not shown that he has the ability to call a great game, hit with any consistency, and be worthy of everyday play. wanted to grab onto martin when he was available.

nice outing for clay but he was screwed without support and will get an l just like lackey who seems to lack the ability to get the third out in big innings consistently.

we scored two earned runs on him but yeah I know just was looking forward to this season so much and realizing that due to how far back we fell last april cost us the playoffs last year even with injuries we could have still made it.

I am worried due to the fact that our starters look poorly conditioned due to a spring training where they rarely pitched more than 5 innings mostly less because they were getting rocked, and that this team is going to hit left handers like this all season.

good news is we play in texas seven times this year and face them at home 3 times I think.
