Well put... I think the Sox hired JF to better our pitchers. Don't get rid of Lester. He still has good innings left in him.

Here is my take on the Myers trade. First I am gonna ask a question. Do the Red Sox need pitching? Rhetorical ass question. During the summer I live at the Royals AAA ballpark. I've seen Myers play. The kid is a absolute beast. The Red Sox just hired a pitching coach as their head coach. I'm positive Farrell will turn Lester around. Farrell knows his stuff. Why would we trade our best pitcher? If we do it's going to be just another bridge year.

Tell me this. Who would you rather have at SS Aviles or Iglesias? Looks like Iglesias is going to be our SS unless we make a deal or pick someone up this off season.

I'm not sure about Farrell. I would've loved Tony Pena. I'm sure Farrell will do just fine. Let's just hope Benny Boy made a good move for the compensation.

I have no idea what we would give them. I do want to get rid of all Boras players. One would be ok. The Belt trade would make more room for the Panda and Posey. Very good point!

I don't think he would. I've seen Belt play. He's a heck of a ball player. He wouldn't give him away cheaply. He is a rising player.

I do like Kalish. He is a good ballplayer. I am just worried about the first base position.

It is possible that he will head to Florida in the coming days to work with Red Sox minor leaguers taking part in the fall instructional league. Since Varitek announced his retirement during spring training, the Sox have said that the door would be open for him to have a future in the organization.
