  1. I'm getting tired of arguing this but you can't just keep making stuff up. He had a 3.48 ERA last year. The stress fracture sucked, but it's not like he didn't show us anything. And in his last 12 starts before hitting the DL he had a 2.97 ERA and was 6-1. If you want to argue that he's not able to stay healthy, fine. But to say he doesn't perform when he does pitch is simply not true.
  2. Sooo.... You clearly don't understand stats.
  3. I think on an average night, this is a 6-7 IP, 3-4 ER game. Not great by any standards, but better than he's been.
  4. He had over 340 innings of sub 3.30 ERA baseball coming into this season. Explain that, please.
  5. Back to back 2 out broken bat bloopers, then a ball that Kalish should have caught. Sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way. But he's throwing much better than his line.
  6. He's thrown 1 bad game in his past 5 outings. Come on man. This is an aberration. If you think he hasn't changed, I'd love to make a sig bet with you. I'd LOVE to. Please, please make one.
  7. Kalish should have caught that.
  8. Two broken bats. What are you talking about? He has made 1 mistake pitch really.
  9. Wow. Couple broken bat bitch hits. Hate those.
  10. Haha. Well I appreciate the effort.
  11. I feel like this is backwards.
  12. Sometimes it's just from over exhaustion. That's how I got it.
  13. sigh. I feel like being able to remember when Youkilis was good is like being able to remember a time before the internet.
  14. Gonzo swings at that 1-1 pitch a week ago. His selection has been much better, even if the results aren't there yet.
  15. Wow not too often you see Reyes spray one on the left side and get a DP turned.
  16. Kind of surprised to see ShopHouse hitting so low in the order tonight. He has really good success against Buehrle.
  17. His defense is actually his biggest asset, although it hasn't shown lately. Keith Law said going into this season his defense alone could get him to the bigs, and all of the scouting reports have it rated very well.
  18. Remember last year when everyone was talking about how Gonzalez had taught Ortiz to go to the opposite field again?
