  1. We'll see what you say in October if what I said comes true.
  2. Atta boy Salty. Put one into the seats, WMB!!! You still haven't met the bullpens.
  3. Let's f***ing go. I hate losing when we have a chance to pick up ground. Get the bats going for f***s sake.
  4. He's having a bad year so far. Give up on him if you want but prepare to eat a s*** ton of crow soon because he's not going to be this bad all year.
  5. Pains me to say this, but I actually wouldn't mind seeing Youk hit for Gonzo here vs the LHP.
  6. That was a big league play by WMB.
  7. Yeah that doesn't sound like you want the Sox to lose at all.....
  8. That was one of the most pathetic innings I've seen.
  9. Pedey single Gonzo bomb lets go
  10. Then why didn't it tear on Tuesday when he got sawed off?
  11. Seriously, hang more breaking balls. Please. Hang more.
  12. I'm about 120% sure that if he could tear his adductor muscle on one swing of the bat, then the Red Sox would not let him play. I know you think they're idiots but they're not that stupid. And besides, you're looking at his first season in the MLB. He was what, 23?
  13. Wow DiceK really taking this one hard
  14. With 12 outs left. Games not nearly over. They can and should still win this one.
  15. Coming into today's game, he was hitting .263, .307 OBP. He's not a high OBP guy, and that's fine. Because he swings hard and he's strong enough to get away with it. He can have weak contact and still drive the ball out of the park. Plus he's had as many doubles as he has homeruns.
  16. He was hurt each of those other years too, and in fact I've heard him say in interviews that there's always a point where he's working his way through an injury. He doesn't just slump, not for 30+ games. If it's an extended slump, he's hurt, simple as that.
  17. Could be his .554 SLG. Or his 13 HR.
  18. You think he was just slumping any of those other times and not hurt?? He slumps because he's playing through injuries. Every single year, you can point to a string of games and say "He was grinding out an injury right here". Every year.
  19. Lets go WMB. Just a groundball up the middle.
  20. Why the hell are we all acting like this is Pedroia's first time to go through a spell like this where he struggles for an extended period of time?? April 23 - June 4, 2011: 37 Games, .204/.307/.263 May 1 - June 9, 2010: 36 Games, .212/.322/.329 May 27 - June 28, 2009: 28 Games, .207/.268/.284 I mean honestly. How many times does it have to happen before we stop freaking out about it??
  21. +1. Exactly. Give me Pedroia, who is capable of busting out of this at any minute, over Punto, who is capable of striking out on an 0-1 count.
  22. Lets go Pedey. You're due for a wall ball double or a right center gapper.
  23. Kalish has to be running here.
