I have complete faith Theo will blow this deal. If prospects or sandwitch picks had a hole in them he would penetrate them. We know how much he loves the farm. Gorden Edes is selling, I aint buying.

ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes reports that Red Sox GM Theo Epstein is "making headway" in a deal for Padres first baseman Adrian Gonzalez. The Red Sox have been linked to Gonzalez for seemingly forever, and once they lost Victor Martinez, we assumed they would step up their efforts to land the Padres star. Gonzalez will be a free agent after the 2011 season, and the Padres have conceded that they have no shot to retain him, so a deal was inevitable, and it sounds like one could be consummated soon. You take this way to serious. Take it easy. By the way Beltre heading to the A's NESN is reporting. All I was trying to do was enjoy Marco Sturm (stiff) being traded and Savy pre game skate and then they bring the RedSox up. Can I watch a serious contender? Wake me up when Theo signs someone other then Brandon Duckworth NESN take it easy with the scrub report!!!
