Lowrie is starting too come off as a bad guy in all this. Wouldn't Mind seeing him traded away if he keeps talking out like this. Even if he starts this year, next year he will be in a fight for the job Against Jose Iglesias.
I just looked at redsox.com and under the roster it says that Gonzo is going to be number 28(Formerly Doug Mirabelli and Dave Magadan). While Cameron sticks with number 23. Jenks and Wheeler still dont have a number.
Crawford will be sticking with 13. Only Worn By 14 players in the History of the Red Sox. Bob Fothergill 1933
Elden Auker 1939
Reid Nichols 1985
Billy Joe Robidoux 1990
John Valentin 1992-2001
Rey Sanchez 2002
Lou Merloni 2003
Doug Mientkiewicz 2004
Roberto Petagine 2005
Alex Cora 2006-08
Alex Gonzalez 2009
Billy Wagner 2009
Angel Sanchez 2010

I was Born in Pawtucket, RI and Lived in South Attleboro. I was Born into a family of Sox, Pats, Bruins, Celts fans. I love the Red Sox and Always will. They may infuriate me sometimes but i love them. They are faithful.
A big Question for the Yankees is whether or not Jeter is his old self. LF is still up in the air for the Yankees as well. Thames and Gardner are good but I dont think they can be as good as Crawford. I Give the Yankees CF and a slight edge on 3rd base with A-rod over Youk. 1B, 2B, RF, are about a push. Catching is NY. But with Jeter getting older it is getting closer to avg. But Still the Red Sox have the better rotation and their bullpen isn't that far behind the NYY. Jenks Wheeler Bard OKI and Papelbon. Not a Bad Combo.
28 Days Until Truck Day.
34 Days Until Pitchers and Catchers Report.
46 Days Until First Spring Training Game.
80 Days Until Opening Day.:thumbsup:
I have to say the Sox are. Whenever you walk into a place in Massachusetts you can always see at least a few with Sox Gear on. Pats gear is few and far between in comparison to Sox Stuff. I know even last year i was looking forward to baseball season way before the trades happened. I love the Pats. But no Matter what the Sox are number 1 in my heart. As of right now I am counting down the days to Truck Day.
