I have heard a lot of talk about the offseason already and I thought we can talk about it all in here. Anything can be dicussed in here from possible trades/free agent signings to the Jason Bay situation and thoughts on free agent/trades and anything else to what you think that will improve the Sox. I know the year isn't over and im not giving up on the year by any means but this is just a place to dicuss howe we can improve this offseason.

This was a very dumb move on this part this time of year. Control your emtions and just walk to first and maybe yell something out to the mound but so nothing more. Another thing that puzzles me is why didn't he appeal? Sense he did not appeal, he will not be able to play in the 3 games series vs the Rangers which could be a determining series in the Wild Card. A flat out stupid move to do this in the first place but not too appeal was a really dumb move.

I dont understand why the Red Sox have not done this. It is pretty clear that Ortiz and Varitek are hurting this team and are virutally automatic outs right now. You know that Terry Francona won't do this because he is loyal to his guys and doesn't want his guys to lose confidence. Here is what my lineup would be: Ellsbury CF Pedroia 2B Martinez C Youkilis 3B Bay LF Lowell DH Drew RF Kotchman 1B Nick Green SS
