I really see no point in moving Dice-K. Unless we're able to sign a top pitcher in FA this offseason, or maybe swing a Halladay deal, I don't think it's a very smart move. Someone like Lackey, or even Bedard would be perfect, asuming they reach the market.

Yes, but I'm not sure I want to add another Penny/Smoltz type guy... And anyone better likely wont make it through waivers.

Tek is NOT a bad catcher at all. Look at the stats... He pretty much gives you what an average catcher should give you. Hell, his OPS is just a few points away from Victor Martinez. But yea, like the poster above me said... JOE MAUER. If you can get him the team will be set at C for years.

Oh darn I'm with most of you guys. Felix is the kind of guy you go out and trade for. I'm putting ANY prospect on the block and letting Seattle choose from 3/4/5 prospects and going from there. Having Hernandez and Lester at the start of the rotation (Wake will find a way to sneek in somehow) for the next 10 years is something special.

After seeing Bard this season I wouldn't be that mad if we dealt Papelbon (Maybe in a package with Lowell for a good young C+) Although I'd be extremely cautious. Buchholz looked like he was on the highway to "ace" 2 years ago, but s*** the bed last season. Granted he's coming around now, going a full season without a legit closer could hurt.
