Our prior management was terrible. They would make terrible moves, and trade our talent away for nothing. The current administration came in with no farm system and few key major leaguers. Now we have a top farm system in the league, and already some great young players in the majors. The worst deal done by our current gm was the Bay trade, since we got one average 3rd basemen, a below average outfielder, terrible reliever, and high upside yet injured goods starting pitcher. When we traded Nady to the Yankees we got the much better end of that deal. Mclouth deal we got the better end. This team has a minor leagues full of great young hitters, and we have a pretty decent young pitching staff. We are only 7 games out of first place.

Sorry we can't spend 150 million on our team. We are going to be the best team in the league in a few years. The red sox have no farm system compared to us. Your old farts are going to be out of their prime soon.

You will very likely not like Laroche. He just isn't a great hitter anymore. We got Garrett Jones giving us power. GO BUCS!

As a Pirate fan I congratulate you Sox fans with being stuck with Adam Laroche. He is a first class player of the field...and on the field...well. Ok He will be very frustrating for all of you because he is overated. He was the most untimely hitting player on the Pirates. As a Pirate's fan I am glad he is gone... My quesiton is who do you sox fans think got the better end of the deal? Are these prospects we got anygood?

10 Homeruns so far since his call up at the beginning of july. He is the most exciting part of the Pirate games lately! :thumbsup: Lets go Bucs!
