unrealistic, but for pipedreams would this be a fair deal?
Phillies in: Paps, Lowell, Hermida
Red Sox in: Werth Hanley
Marlins in: Casey Kelly, Expositio Josh Reddick, Micheal Bowden from Sox, and 2 A prospects from the philies and a B guy
I never said we were defitantly going to acquire one mkay?
Just looking at the Hot Stove thread these 3 seem to be the most talked about for making that big splash. Who knows though? we could quite possibly end up with none
I've never liked the idea of getting Felix, a lineup adituon is more needed IMo, we just need a good 4-5 starter ala Rich Harden. Though it seems to be a popular discussion here.
A-Gon is the power bat we need, but we'd have to shift some players around to make it work, though Gonzalez is a FA in 2011 and SD more than likley want to trade him
Hanram fixes our SS problem as could also be the big bat we need. Florida has a history of selling their players
Which is most likley and why? And what would it take to get him?
Id keep Lowell here on the bench, His stats at Fenway are GREAT. Play him at home wheather it be at DH or 3B, and leave him on the bench for away games
Papelbon is reliable? lol he led the AL in unclean innings for closer. paps is defitantly better, but id rather take a great lineup and a good pen than a good lineup and a great pen
Get HamRam! don’t need Lackey, just get a quality #4 starter. Maybe trade Paps for Gamel Parra and another top prospect, and trade Gamel top prospect, Lars, Reddick, Pimental. Bowden and fillers for Hamram
Keep Gonzo for a year i like his D. trade paplbum to a team that needs a closer, say the phillies? Get spects for him, and trade that, Lars Bowden Reddick and mid level guys for Adrian Gonzalez
