    Check again genius Buster Olney claims that was a fake. And so you're telling me, that if we go into next year with the same lineup we're a top 3 offense? No we aren't. It was great in April-June but I'd like you to find how many runs we scored after that. Not 3rd I'm pretty sure. And consider that with the fact that bay and/or Lowell or Ortiz could be gone

    I didnt put this in the title but the article also says theres a good chance Bay goes to the west coast to be closer to home. That seriously increases the chances we trade paps by a lot

    What have they done against good teams? Our offense was silent the entire postseason except for 2 innings. We lost 8 of the last 9 to the yankees. Lowell Tek Papi are only going to get worse and we may very well lose our best power hitter

    So you'd rather have a guys who was 5th in the AL in unclean innnings to pitch 1 inning rather than a top hitter like hanley or adrin Gonzalez?

    Show Wagner the money, and I'll guarentee you he won't retire. There are other decent options as well on the market such as valverde and soriano. And who knows, maybe bard shows up next year in ST like he did in May-July and is reliable enough to be part time closer

    Yea i think i ripped the phillies a little, but imo they get what they need. Feliz has been awful since July with a OPS of 625. Lowell in that part would do wonders for the team. In 101 PA at Citizens Bank Park, hes had a line of 348/396/697/1.093. Plus a reliable closer has been a big need for them with lidge's stuggles. we'd probably have to do something else though like eat Lidge's salary for all sides to be happy. Then again it's just a fantasy
