  7. Brady involved in car accident E-mail|Link|Comments (41) Posted by Matt Pepin, Boston.com Staff September 9, 2010 08:08 AM E-mail this article To: Invalid email address Add a personal message: Your e-mail: Invalid email address Sending your article Your article has been sent. By Mike Bello, Globe Staff New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was in a car accident this morning in Boston's Back Bay section, but he did not receive medical treatment and is on his way to work, sources told the Globe this morning. A sedan and a passenger van collided at 6:34 a.m. at Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street, said Boston Fire Department spokesman Steve MacDonald. The driver of the sedan was able to get out and was walking around after the crash. A man was stuck in the back of the passenger van and had to be removed with the Jaws of Life, then transported to an area hospital, MacDonald said. He said the traffic light was hit during the accident and Boston police were investigating. A law enforcement source said the man driving the sedan was Brady. The passenger in the van was unconscious after the accident and was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital, police said. Globe sportswriter Albert Breer reported this morning, based on a source familiar with the situation, that Brady did not receive medical treatment and is on his way to work in Foxborough. The crash comes as the Patriots are gearing up for their season opener on Sunday against the Cinncinnatti Bengals. The Globe reported earlier this week that Brady and the Patriots were trying to iron out a three-year contract extension that would pay him $58 million, averaging $19.3 million per year.
  8. No details yet. The story is developing.
  9. Yall? You ca do better than that!
  10. Move this mediocre pitcher to L.A. or Seattle.
  11. No. Other than subjective speculation among some of the Boston media. Trading Ellsbury would be a major mis-step.
  12. I love the fact that two geezers out pitched the Expectorator and that our "kids" put the hurt on the Rays. Not to ignore what some of the old position players contributed. 17 hits?????
  13. Plenty of entertaining baseball yet to be played by the Sox this year.
  14. Scutaro is a piece of s***! 11-5 Sox.
  15. That was short lived.
  16. A double whammy! Run-up the pitch count and go deep!
  17. Hahahahahaha! Just as I read your post he jacks one! New game!
  18. I have no problem with his ability. He's really good. I just find him repulsive. The face pubes and the constant spitting. Even my 8 y.o. Daughter thinks he's gross!
  19. I said nothing about his race. I think he's a piece of s*** as a person. My opinion has nothing to do with the color of his skin.
  20. I sure wish the Sox had given Reddick the green light.
  21. @ Sation13 Is that Bryce Harper as your avatar?
