  1. I was outside. How did the Guardians score the 3rd run? A homer?
  2. Drew is now wearing glasses? Better to see ball 4 I guess!
  3. Well I've heard that he is genuinely a good veteran presence in the clubhouse. Like another coach. Of course he could be just teaching all the young players how to inject each other!
  4. I do not dispute anything you have said Gomes. With all of the talk of bitterness and rivalry with the DEVIL Rays over the last few days, I have to laugh because I've seen several instances of fellowship between the "Rival" players during the games. Smiling, joking, laughing, pats on the back and on the shoulder. That kind of stuff. Even with blowhard Papi's declaration of war and "it's on", I think that most of the players get along and want none of this hostility crap. Maybe I'm wrong? And, I fully agree with you about not being able to get mad at the Guardians especially with Tito there. That and the fact that, well, it's Cleveland.
  5. Masterson has been getting pounded lately. "Even when given the chance to make a full start, the right-hander has struggled. He's 0-2 with a 9.98 ERA over his last three full outings, walking 11 with seven strikeouts over 15 1-3 innings in that span." As I said before, I like the guy and kind of miss him. However, I want to see him completely disgraced and run from the game inside 4 innings. The Sox have won 7 in a row and I'm in a greedy mood. Number 8 tonight!!!!
  6. To hell with any Las Angeles team, really
  7. I always have nice things to say about Masterson and Francona. But tonight I want the Sox to pound the Guardians into submission. The Sox put up crooked numbers and the Guardians learn that it is John Lackey that encompasses their doom. GO SOX!
  8. Again, excellent and accurate post.
  9. Scorching. This is the first time I've seen a 5'10" first baseman play MLB.
  10. I'm down with this idea. He has the tools and as long as he's hitting at his current clip he can replace the oft injured Victorino in right and anyone in left. He has the speed to play center as well. An athlete is an athlete. He has the drive to become better and to earn a spot here permanently so why not try it.
  11. De La Rosa was a very pleasant surprise for me. I was prepared to see him get throttled last night. However, he looked very composed and in control of the hitters most of the night. Maybe the Sox have a gem here even though it is a very small sample size.
  12. It is written. The Sox win today.
  13. I was outside for a few. Did Ruby complete 7? If so, great effort!!! What did Bradley do?
  14. Pregnancy never stopped me!!!!! Hahahahahahaha!! Have fun!
  15. Ruby pitching well in the 7th!!!! What a pleasant surprise!!! Still 7-0 Sox.
  16. I'm surprised that Maddon is not out to gripe about Holt's route to first! I guess it's legal, though.
  17. 7-0 baby! He stroked that into a power ally too!!!
