  1. Unless he railed on it after 9pm (had to watch Lost), all I heard from him was Kazmir's placement of his outside fastball. Ortiz was not happy about a 1st or 2nd inning called strike, but other than that, nothing jumps out to me r/g strike zone issues. It is too early in the season to be blaming games on the umps. Would an accurate and consistant stike zone got the Sox an additional 5 runs last night?
  2. You guys are the only ones crying about the strike zone. Funny that Rick Sutcliffe and company never hinted at an inconsistant strike zone last night. The Rays were the better team last night, plain and simple.
  3. The troll is back....and no, I did not give up after the 3rd inning of yesterdays game. Yesterday's game personified how the Rays win. It sure is great to watch Maddon directing the ship. You guys had your chances. Nice to see Pena get out of his 0-6 funk. Good pitching matchup today. I'll be back at 1:35 to talk some Rays trash!!
  4. that stupid hobbit is good.
  5. Did I say speed kills?
  6. Beckett's strike to pitch percentage is falling!!
  7. Big Game James has settled down!!
  8. Should have been a lot worse!! Not brining in more runs might come back to hurt the Sox.
  9. If BJ were in the lineup, it think it would be lights out. As a result, 6-9, is a little light.
  10. Coco at worst grazed Shields. It was Navaro that knocked Shields down. Last October's foul weather games will help out the Rays for this series. I'm looking forward to ESPN's telecast for tomorrow's game. Both the Rays and Sox start out the month w/tough schedules. Should be a good indicator where the teams will go for the rest of the season. I was happy to see CC's stellar pitching debut yesterday. Go Yanks!!!
  11. Apparently, some of you live w/your mothers as you have been posting day and night. Today's Boston forecast: A tropical front will hit like a Mike Tyson right hook. Please be aware of devastating heat from Shields. The tropical front will also cause looting in the form of many stolen bases. The state warns not to attempt to apprehend the looters as their speed and skill are too powerful. The state recommends that Bostonians just sit tight and take it up the ass like usual.
  12. Price didn't make the team because of control issues in ST, that and the fact TB does not want him to be a super 2, thus saving the team money. Ummm....he def. had control issues w/a 1.08era and 10ks in eight innings. D. Price will be better as a rookie than 80% of your starting rotation, exception being Beckett.
  13. Yea, she is. She is from Boston.
  14. People from the city who loves to prepay for championships. It will be my pleasure to remind you of the AL East standings from time to time. Like mom used to say, there is nothing wrong w/2nd place, Boston fans.
  15. I'm not the fan who has a cover boy quarterback pitching tighty whities and cologne. I'm sure Brady and A-Rod have a lot to talk about when it comes to male modeling!!!
  16. Man, Baltimore is going to be a huge let down after the beatdown your tubby ass lineup will receive from the Rays. Hey, if the AL East was predicated on the number of chicken wings consumed, you guys would easy kick the tar out of the Rays.
  17. I'm sorry, you're right. It was Garza that owned your entire line up, not Price. Whoops. Hard to keep track of baseballs best rotation. BoSox21, it's stupid, fuc*in moron. You forgot the comma.
  18. "Why Bother" Moving words from someone who knows he is wrong, thanks!!
  19. Brainiacs, since when does a "prospect" start game 7 of a ALCS? You guys are dumber than A-Rod explaining his roid use to Peter Gammons. Price is not a prospect, he will be on the team once he polishes his change-up in what will be a nasty assortment of "what just blew by me?" I will take Kazmir, Shields, Price, Garza, Sonnanstine, and Neimann w/our bullpen backing them up over your guys' anyday!!! Give me the speed and defense backing our starting rotation over your speed and defense anyday!! I was at the Trop for Bogg's 3000th hit. I've been w/the Rays since day one.
  20. David Price did not even make the team!!! He is the MLB Rookie of the year already and he is not even on the team!!! What does that tell you? When he comes up in June/July, it is sweet dreams to the rest of the division. Your pitching is strong, but not as good as the Rays.
  21. C'mon Sox fans.....Your slow, non-witty comebacks are as bad as your team’s stolen base percentage!! Let's face it....gone are the days of fat boys hitting dingers. Speed and pitching is the new reality. The Rays are way ahead of the curve!!!
  22. "The Red Sox announced that Monday's game against the defending American League champions is rescheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET Tuesday, which had been an off day." Damn...AL CHAMPS.....I still get chills. Well...I guess that will allow Ortiz antoher 24-hours of some lobsta rolls, followed by another added inch to the waistline, followed by a hamstring injury and a trip to the 15-day DL. Thank you rain delay. Maybe Pedrioa can watch The Lord of the Rings Trilogy on TNT!!!
  23. It's the Boston Ray Party today for us Ray's fans to punctuate at the beginning of the season who the big dog really is in the AL East. Sox's fans, your Hobbit MVP and the rest of his geriatric teammates can fight it out for 2nd place. Ray's nation, out!
