  1. CC always implodes in the 6th
  2. Cause he has nudies of Cash and Joe
  3. holy f***ing ever living s***, are we winning?
  4. It has actually become interesting in trying to predict how they'll f*** up scoring situations. 1st and 3rd, 1 out. I am gonna go with a pop out and a K on this one
  5. Wilson isn't dealing. He sucks and is leaving cock shots all over the zone. We can't f***ing hit. At all. We suck
  6. We are the third worst team in baseball. Holy f***
  7. Refsnyder or Castro. Ackley can also play 2b. To be honest, I want to see what Refsnyder can do, and he couldn't possibly be worse
  8. Throwing him out there is no good. We need to phantom DL the guy. Maybe even sham a surgery. Make him disappear
  9. Team renamed for 2016. The NY Septic Abortions
  10. Severino is struggling with his command and paying for it. Our offense cannot hit its way out of a wet paper bag. This is a bad team
  11. His velocity is down and his location is off. He will regain the location, but he needs that top end velo to be an ace.
  12. They have to improve...somewhat. What I see from Headley is a guy who is done. He either needs to make some adjustments to gain bat speed or he will continue to chop the ball to the infielders and have no pop. His bat speed is gone
  13. 0 for 3 RISP so far. They suck
  14. UN, he's getting older and now coming off a major injury. He could regain his form with renewed table push aways and weight loss, but it's far from a guarantee
  15. He doesn't even do the surgeries. He's got a cadre of highly trained orthopedic fellows and has 4 rooms running all the time with sports medicine related surgeries. He's the diagnostician and the business manager of the practice. He is basically raking in 4 times as much as any orthopod on surgery alone and usually has a cash and carry policy for consultations, and I am sure each consult is at least 4 figures. My friend interviewed with him for an ortho spot.
  16. 2mph drop across the board. Will need to see if that sticks or rises as the weather warms.
  17. Thing is, we should have scrubbed this a few yrs ago. We tried to reboot the franchise with "savvy" signings that haven't panned out, all the while knowing we are saddled with dead weight in CC, ARod and Tex. Add in Beltran, Ells and Headley, and we're watching $120 mil basically suck. You cannot eat $120 mil in this day and age. Selig basically removed a lot of our financial clout with revenue sharing and with George no longer here, we don't have the same passion in the owner's box. Once you go down the path of throwing gobs of money around, the only way to fix it while still winning is to continually spend. We didn't spend this offseason, at least not like we should have. There was a TON of talent available and we basically were given a 2b and a closer as long as we ate their contracts and their off the field issues. So the only way you get better after throwing around a LOT of bad money is to re-boot and suck for a bit. And if this year is the start of it, then we need to do it right. I want Girardi and Cash to stay. I think Girardi always gets more out of his team than they have and Cash has found a way to reboot our farm while still picking from the back end. The problem is, we need the other talking heads in the FO to allow it to happen. I doubt they will. They like seeing the revenue stream in, they like being relevant. If Cash is allowed to re-boot, I would still consider big expenditures, but only on guys who will be here when prosperity comes. That means a guy like Strasburg. That means waiting for a guy like Harper. But it also means detonating this mass of s*** this yr and maybe dealing away some guys who hurt a bit. I'd move Beltran and eat his contract. If Tex shows he doesn't suck, I'd try to move him. I'd cut CC, he is eating innings that would be better served given to Nova initially (so we can deal him) and then to a rook after that. I'd move Gardner, Miller and Chapman as well. Blow it up a bit. What we have doesn't work. Rebuild and reload
  18. I was really critical of Girardi in his early years. But the txt that he guided the hot mess of a roster last hr to the postseason was a miracle. The guy has gotten a 25 man with far too many corpses on it
  19. And I hate the Mets!
  20. When you're dealing with the back end, you can't miss on the front end of other contracts. The declines of CC, ARod, and Tex are being mingled with the failures of Headley and Ellsbury, who both should be prime performers based on age. This has led to a domino effect in the lineup
  21. Our problem is that our rotation should be good enough to win if our offense hits. But our offense isn't hitting. This is making our pitchers try to be too fine and for everyone not named Tanaka, it's causing their performance to suffer. There is definitely a difference when you're pitching and you know one run might be all you get vs when your offense is hitting and you know they have your back. The problem is, the guys aren't just hitting into bad luck. They look overmatched. This is an old team that finally fell off the cliff. You can only try to cheat Father Time for so lng before you get burned
  22. YOTN, NYYFans? That site is full of morons
  23. This is going to be the worst Yankee team in 25 years
