  1. Whats with all the immature blowjob talk? Look, anyone who can't admit that the Yankees have had more success over the years than the Red Sox is a homer and a complete moron. I maybe a Red Sox fan, but at least I'm smart enough to concede that notion. As far as the chant is concerned, it doesn't even make any sense, and I hear it during every Red Sox game, regardless of opponent. The Yankees don't suck, and right now they are on top of the AL East. So lets stop acting like children, and not make stupid posts. P.S: Yeah, I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but some people on here give me a bad rap.
  2. I hate listening to Selig. I can't wait until he steps down as commissioner.
  3. Man is it miserable tonight or what?
  4. Your original title was very childish. Glad someone came in and changed it.
  5. Any updates on the status of tonights game?
  6. Tonight - Periods of rain and drizzle. Areas of fog. Lows in the upper 40s. North winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
  7. 100% chance up until 11PM according to CBS4, but it doesn't drop off all that much after 11 (93%). If this gets rained out, they should play a doubleheader tomorrow. I'm with you on this one, I'm experiencing baseball withdrawal already.
  8. Whats the probability of this game being PPD? Forecast calls for rain tonight.
  9. 200 words a minute? Holy s***, you really are Jesus!
  10. They'd play a day-night DH if the Jays game gets PPD tomorrow night on Thursday.
  11. Well I was just looking at the radar, and two bands of moderate rain are heading in the direction of Boston, but after that theres no significant precipitation forming, so that maybe their window of opportunity. However, who knows how soaked the outfield will be after those two bands move through.
  12. YES just showed a live picture from Fenway and it's already raining there. With darkened clouds looming off in the distance which is going to bring the downpour.
  13. According to the YES Network, they will be reevaluating the situation at around 7:30.
  14. Click on the radar link. Theres a heavy rain band headed for Boston. The minute the first pitch got underway it would be pouring.
  15. http://weather.cbs4boston.com/auto/wbz4V2/Region/Northeast/2xRadar.html?gimg=http://static.viacomlocalnetworks.com/~radarmaps/anim/wbz/radar_anim.gif&gtitle=CBS4%20Radar No precipitation right now, but look at that heavy band heading right into Boston. Theres definately going to be a rain delay.
  16. Can we get some weather updates?
  17. But is there any certainty that the excessive addition of money would make someone happy? Sure, it may seem like the greatest thing in the world on the first day, but after awhile doesn't it get boring going out and buying stuff, stuff that you really don't need, but since it doesn't hurt you finanically you can do so anyways. I'm talking about my 1 billion to 12 billion scenario. I'm not talking about any amount of money here. Only in the excessive range.
  18. Thats an economists philosophy. I'd rather be doing what I love to do for less money than be miserable with a s*** load of more money. Yes, I want to make enough money to be living comfortably, but after that it's needless. If I make 1 billion a year at some job, and I get a similar job offer, but instead I'd be making 12 bil I wouldn't jump. What difference does it make if I make 12 billion or 1 billion? I'm not going to be buying multiple houses and cars. I know this doesn't sound logical to most people, but thats my thinking.
  19. I'm actually going to go dead silent in my head (since I won't be in attendance) throughout his entire AB. He gets no reaction from me despite being a renegade in the fact that he swore his allegiance last season, and then contradicts himself in the offseason.
  20. Exactly, Pedro is our messiah. Now we have to pray to the south.
  21. No offence, but a meaningless reply doesn't deserve a good reply in return. Rivernator didn't need to say anything more to what he already said previously, and so you know you're starting to annoy me a bit. You're giving me a bad rap.
  22. But Petey was our messiah. I still enjoy him pointing to the sky on the highlight reel everytime he pitches well for the Mets. I still wish we had him on our staff.
