    There was no chance of him pitching without the surgery but at the time there was a chance with rehab. His badmouthing of the FO telling him to rehab was the issue.

    How is that possible? Is he ready to pitch now? The recovery period from surgery of that nature is at least 9 months. Don't be obtuse.

    No he pretty much stole $8 million from the Red Sox they paid him to pitch and he wanted surgery right out of the box.

    It would also have been better for everyone involved if he did this after 2007, IMO.

    Let me rephrase: I love everything Curt Schilling gave the Red Sox on the baseball diamond and dislike most everything off it. Still, shutting up 55,000 New Yorkers always makes you OK in my book.

    Meh, I'm in the middle, they played well for sure but it was clear it was one of Brodeur's off nights. I definitely think Chara and Thomas had excellent games, and after the last few weeks I'm not going to complain about some favorable bounces.

    Oh absolutely. The whole UCONNvicts thing is pretty stale but it's also humorous when fans of other teams throw it out there, because of its ridiculousness. Turning attention back to the tournament, can the BE get 6 into the Sweet 16? UConn, Villanova, and Syracuse are there and Louisville, Marquette, and Pitt all have winnable games IMO.
