  1. Pretty good, man. Good to see you back here.
  2. 26 to 6, good to see. I suggest you edit your username :harhar: .
  3. Damn...I wanted to see 14-0 vs. 0-14 with the Dolphins trying to defend their best team ever's record with their worst team ever.
  4. Definitely should have gone to Stephon Marbury.
  5. 20-2. ...somebody pinch me.
  6. Yeah, I've been gone for a few months. I had to take care of some business and I didn't really have time for message boards. I think everyone can relate to that. Nice WS win and Celtics domination we have going on here. I see some new faces and I'm looking forward to discussing the red sox and everything else with you all.
  7. Well, it looks like I'm in the championship against the Kings of Swing...but even if I lose, the Kings of Swing win the championship prize, so congratulations?
  8. Watch out everyone. Now I'm consistently updating my roster and that spells bad news for opposing teams...
  9. Welcome.

  11. Haha, just because he didn't do any of that other stuff doesn't make his cheating any better. That argument would be like being pulled over by a cop for speeding and lecturing him about terrorists in the middle east and comparing it to your incident.
  12. Haahaha, what the hell? The guy took HGH...since when is using illegal performance enhancers and trying to recover used interchangeably?
  13. After Pats fans, WEEI Personalities, etc. completely ripped Merriman to pieces after it was discovered that he used steroids, it should be interesting to see how they spin this...
  14. KG is not a downlow presence...?...thats news to me.
  15. Agreed.
  16. I've been in Chicago for the past few days so I didn't have a chance to come on here when the trade happened so here are my thoughts: First of all, great trade. I'm still amazed that we turned all of our largest contracts into all-star players who are actually worth the money rather than players like Wally, Theo, Raef, or Blount holding huge contracts. This trio will be an outstanding force in the eastern conference and I never would have imagined that our youth could be exhanged for such a combination of stars. We are in for some great basketball for the next few years and it's all but guaranteed that this team has what it takes to make a splash in the eastern conference playoffs and maybe even the NBA Finals if this team really gels. Many people talk about how much we gave up...I disagree. Al Jefferson will be good...not great. He isn't the next Moses Malone or Kevin Garnett. I see him as being a Chris Webber/Jermaine O'Neal type player if he stays healthy and continues to develop but he will never be Garnett. Gerald Green is the next Kedrick Brown. I can just tell that Danny and Doc were waiting to get rid of him and I don't think he'll ever amount to the T-Mac hype that koolaid drinking fans were throwing around. Ryan Gomes is a solid player but will be a bench player on a good team. He'll never be a superstar. Sebastian Telfair is an undersized point guard who still has a chance to develop but the defining moment in his career will most likely be when he decided to go pro rather than join Rick Pitino in the NCAA. Theo Ratliff is just a contract and nothing more. Consider him finished. Kevin Garnett will team up with Pierce and Allen to form an unbelievable trio and as KG put it, "a force to be reckoned with". By the way, the only negative in this whole situation is the fact that the days of buying a $20 or $30 ticket and moving down towards the floor are over...and the garden will fill up with the same bandwagon fans that went into hibernation the past two seasons. For the record, I've been a fan throughout the whole painful journey to this moment and whether you agree with me or not on some issues, you know I've been here this whole way. True celtics fans, the days of the draft lottery and seeing players like Oriene Greene or Wally Szczerbiak with the ball in their hands in the clutch are over...we have ourselves a contender.
  17. Vick's career is over. Before this, he was an overrated quarterback who had never accomplished anything but now that his public image is completely negative and America figured out that he is a sick human being, he is completely done. Hopefully, he gets the six years in prison and never steps on to an NFL field ever again, however if he does, pro-animal groups will be outside of all his games and court hearings, the media will never let him live it down, his sponsors will dump him, and his fans will betray him...all of which would be rightfully so. I hope the piece of s*** gets six years of jailtime and never gets to step on the field ever again.
  18. What Vick is being accused of is much worse than "ruffling a puppy's fur" as you say. If the reports are correct, Vick was deeply involved in a sick, immoral hobby where a baby dog would be dropped as bait and the two fighting dogs would fight to death for it. After the match, the losing dog would sometimes be shot, strangled, drowned, or electrocuted after being drenched with water. If Mike Vick really was a big player in this whole situation, he makes Pac Man Jones look like a cub scout. This crime is very serious for a reason and it's just sickening that a human being could do something so cruel like this for entertainment.

  20. Red Sox (54-34) vs. Blue Jays (43-45) Boston, MA 7:05 PM Julian Tavarez (5-7 4.97 ERA) http://graphics.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Globe_Photo/2006/03/28/1143548512_0888.jpg VS. Shawn Marcum (4-3 3.62 ERA) http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/images/sports/photos/2007/04/19/marcum-shaun070419.jpg http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/preview;_ylt=AhilRu_TQBrPmhYOgZDXIHcRvLYF?gid=270713102 Prediction: Julian Tavarez has a decent outing and the Red Sox take the second game of this series from Toronto with a strong offensive performance against Marcum.
  21. Red Sox vs. Blue Jays 7:05 PM; Boston, MA NESN Tim Wakefield (9-8, 4.39 ERA) http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/topstory/sports/wakefield_tim1013.jpg VS. Roy Halladay (10-3, 4.46 ERA) http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2007/04/02/NhWzZYzo.jpg http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/preview;_ylt=AgtDhk6.2L6QgTDP82Vv0mMRvLYF?gid=270712102 Predcition: Somewhat of a pitcher's duel between Wakefield and Halladay, however Toronto's underrated offense takes advantage of Wakefield towards the middle of the game and Halladay continues to silence the Sox bats into the the 7th. The Red Sox go on to destroy the Blue Jays' bullpen and Boston wins 8-6.
  22. WOOOOOOOOOW La Russa. Bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, bases loaded, down by one...and you leave ALBERT PUJOLS on the bench of Aaron freakin Rowand...wow.
