    That really bothered you didn't it? You mentioned it in one of your several rants about the situation. I have never disliked too many public figures as much as A-Rod. Extremely strong dislike that started in July 2004. So the moment Dempster hit him, he was my hero and I was as happy as all the fans at Fenway who cheered like we had just won the World Series. Afterward, he didn't get the job done and contributed to our loss and fell out of hero status.

Note: Bailey and Buchholz going on the 60-day DL makes room for Bogaerts and Ross on the 40-man roster. Buchholz has already been out more than 60 days so he is eligible to be activated at any time. If Buchholz were to return before Sept. 1, the Red Sox would need to create a spot on the 40-man roster.
