  1. Tim Pawlenty made a slip of the tounge mistake by saying "It's time to drop the f***" instead of "It's time to drop the puck" This is hilarious. They blew it up in the media and TV news, but it was very funny. One of the most hilarious sports moments ever, on the opening game for the Minnesota Wild.
  2. I say this is a good bunch of dudes, but no one thinks Duncan is the best? He's argueably the most consitant baller in the NBA, and he's a good presence, they say he's a very funny dude, yet serious. I still think Garnett, because he's a good leader like Duncan, just he's so much more versitile than anyone in the league, bar none. He can play all five positions, he's the best passing 7 footer since Wilt Chamberlain, and he can dunk, rebound and block shots. He's currently holding the record for most 20-10-5 seasons and holds the record for most consecutive 20-10-5 seasons, with 6 and counting. Larry Bird held it before he did, but Garnett has sharttered it. I think Garnett has led the league in efficiency for the last 5 years aswell.
  3. Yeah, but he's on pace to shatter his own record, I mean he's got like 20 fumbles almost, Like 15 or something, but it's terrible. I beleive Tice has a good knowledge of the game, but he's just gotta realize Randy Moss isn't around anymore.
  4. What hell is the matter with Dante Coldpecker, I hate the little bastard, but I gotta admit he's good. But he's throwing interceptions and fumbling at a rate that not even Kurt Warner could keep up with. That's why I made this topic, because Culpepper has become THE Fumble f*** of the year. What do you think is going on? No Randy Moss, crappy coach? I personally think Tice is a good coach, but he has to deal with guys like Michael Bennet, Dante Culpepper and Randy Moss, thank god not anymore Moss. Anyway, Tice is a bargain, for 800K he's a good deal, but he doesn't get enough credit. Opinions?
  5. I can agree with with the one half about the 'groups' but there isn't one best player? Come on, Garnett Duncan and Shaq are in a league of their own. Garnett puts up great numbers, you can make an argument he puts up the best. Just state who you think puts up the most consistant numbers.
  6. Who do you think is the best Basketball player today. I gotta go with my man, Kevin Garnett.
  7. If santana won more games, and wasn't with the Twins he would have won it, but he is like, what, 15-8?
  8. But Ortiz went up gradually, Giambi admitted to using them, and now I believe he's on them, because he's sucked all year, Ortiz hasn't sucked at all this year. It's not rocket science.
  9. Randy Moss is looking fantastic in Oakland, but they can't seem to help him out, he is their offense. They have a seemingly amazing defense, but it hasn't looked like it really. Washington, Sapp, Woodson and company don't look like themselves. Otherwise I think they'd be 3-0 with a little more offense too. Moss needed to play like this in Minnesota, he was saying that he didn't need to play his best. Now he's playing his best. Cullpepper would have like 900 passing yards by now if he had Moss playing his best. Minnesota will suck, I say 5-11, can't stand people blaming Tice, when these monkeys can't seem to make a play. STOP BLAMING THE COACH!!!
  10. He didn't all of a sudden have a breakout year you dumb s***, he had a few AVERAGE years, then he went to about 25 homers and 85 RBI's to 30 homers and 105 RBI's to 45 homers and 135 RBI's to now 47 homers and 150 RBI's, he's just going up gradually, like I said. For Sheff, try looking at one of his older pics from Millwaukee, I've only seen one of those old ass pictures from the 1980's, he looked skinny. I guess he might not have, but Giambi for sure and I got some suspisions about Posada, he has these good years, and then all of a sudden, this year, he sucks.
  11. Good point, but he went up gradually, Ortiz isn't really muscular, he's kinds fat. He went from skinny, to buff, to fat, to a little less fat and more muscle. It's not like Sosa or McGuire or sheffield where one year they're like a little stick figure, and the next year they're just some huge monster looking thing. My point has been proven.
  12. Yeah? But he was smaller when he was with the dodgers and Marlins and Padres and with Millwaukee too, it wasn't until those clutch years, and he was getting quite a bit older, he got huge. It's pretty obvious, just some yanks fans don't want to admit. All I'm saying. Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds were skinny like that too, back in the early 90's Sosa looked skinny and then all of a sudden his muscles bulge and s***, like Sheff. Unless he was just all of a sudden going on a major work out.
  13. Lou Gehrig is the clutchingest player in the history of baseball, and that's coming from a Red Sox fan, sure, I like the Yankees too, but I favor the Sox. Anyway, .92 RBI's per game for 16 years? Get the hell out of here, that's never going to be approached. Sam Thompson and Hank Greenberg have .92, but throught about 12 and 14 years, it's not going to happen. Gehrig by far, and you can looks at his stats, and that will answer your question.
  14. He is definetly, I mean c'mon, the guy all of a sudden just starts tearing s*** up? Lol, it's funny how some yankee fans don't see that guys like Sheffield and Giambi weren't on 'roids. They obviously do, because Sheffield hasn't always been this huge, until that breakout year in Atlanta where he all of a sudden hits like 45 homers and drives in like 139. Anyway, of course it's 'roids, how else does he get power, Gatorade?
  15. Hey, what's up, I'm JimBrown32, I'm here from Soxfan#1, I am also known as Detroit187, and I hope to contribute.
