Not really, when you look at the long haul, it was actually pretty successful. His velocity was good, his stuff was good, his location was dog s***. When he gets back into the rhythm of a starter, he will be ok. If you've never done it, you don't know how hard it is to go from closer to starter, and if you think you know, you still probably don't. Different strategies, different mind set, totally different style of pitching. Its very hard to make that transition. You can't expect a perfect game from the guy. The velocity and the movement was there, and we're talking about Curt Schilling, he's going to put it together nicely i think. He's not going to be Koufax or anything, but he'll be good until the post season, then he'll really turn it on. He's Curt Schilling.
