    Huh? The Celtics are trading their 5th pick (in this very deep draft...that gives Minnesota two draft picks I think) and Ratliff. Plus some others. Whatever it is, this deal is an okay away from Marion from being completed.

    Agreed. I doubt the Buehrle talks are officially over. It's in the White Sox' best interest to get a deal for Buehrle done now; as the deadline comes closer they'll get less value for him and then be stuck with him if they're stubborn for too long. I still think this deal gets done. I agree; Gabbard has another opportunity to show that he can give us a chance to win without s***ing the bed through 3+ innings. If Lester isn't ready, there's no time like the present to see what Buchholz can do. I'd obviously rather have Buehrle come in and solidify the rotation though.

    What do you mean you don't give a s*** what I call it? Those are breaks. When you say we can't get a break, you're not being accurate. The offense just can't get it done. Sure, it was a bad break for us, but for every break that goes your way, you're going to have one go the other way. In other words, we got 3 breaks that inning, and a boatload in the beginning of yesterday's game.

    I know, but my point was that he won't be the starter if he continues pitching like this. Keep in mind that he's a pretty decent pitcher....or can be. They'll give him another start. For whatever reason, Safeco has always given the Sox a load of fits. Alright, Coco's on. Come on Pedroia, get on for Papi. A single and a homerun ties this game up. I'm still in shock that Bloomquist took Gabbard deep.

    At least it's just an atmosphere thing (it seems like it...they never do well at Safeco). It will be very nice to have this long upcoming homestand.
