Whoa, whoa, whoa. Is this the apocalypse? Did a deserving MVP award winner on a team that missed the playoffs actually win the MVP?
yeah too bad it probly wont happen again tomorowOriginally Posted by schillingouttheks;207104;
It will be very hipocritcal of wirtters, to one day Vote Howard over pujous, and then the next day here that Jeter wins over Ortiz. If Howard is the MVP in the NL, then Ortiz should def. be the MVP in the AL.

Writers get it wrong yet again. Pujols deserved it.
EDIT: After looking the stats over a little more Pujols only owned a major edge in defense over Howard so I guess I cant complain.
it was too close to call it could have won either way , pujols missed 19 games wich really hurt his chances , otherwise he would have won itOriginally Posted by AlexanderTheGreat13;207154;
It makes absolutely no sense if Jeter wins (which he will), Why not vote Cabrera in the NL hes similiar to Jeter. Awards suck.

They are also pretty much meaningless. Who cares who wins 3 letters? Both the Red Sox and the Yankees sucked this year. We're all losers!Originally Posted by EvilDonut;207190;
The guy deserved the award. He had an amazing season. Now onto the A.L MVP.
