the redsox aren't going to win this game, the bullpen is going to blow it once again.
Why is it so hot at Expos' games?
Because there's not a fan in sight.
too pessimistic we'll win, it's the fucking Mariners. But even if we do lose, we return for a good 7 game homestand to gain ground.

Ortiz, I disagree with you. I'm not sure the bullpen can blow it if Lowe blows it first!
Piniero is a struggling pitcher who was regarded as one of it's teams top pitchers...Like Colon, he'll find himself today and dominate us.
Lowe is going to be....well....Lowe. I have no confince in Lowe :-(

I think I speak for all of Red Sox Nation when I say "I'm tired of hearing Francona, Theo, and Johnny Damon say things like this.We had a chance to pick up ground on the Yankees today and let that slip through our fingers," center fielder Johnny Damon said following Monday's game. "We really need to swing the bats (on Tuesday afternoon)."
F-ing DO IT!

Exactly, there is nothing worse then broken promises.Originally posted by elsrbueno@Jul 20 2004, 10:53 AM

We need Lowe to start AND FINISH strong. Doesn't it seem he always cruises through innings 1-3 and then starts to lose it in the 4th? DLOWE: just get us to the 6th without too much damage!!!
BDD is reporting that Nomar and Pokey are hurt, but Nomar will play tonight...if either goes down, you know who's coming up...
Glad to see McCarty starting at 1B tonight....maybe Kentucky Fried Kevin will realize how "important" he is to the team and start producing.
Not a "must win" situation tonight, but there's really no reason for the Sox to get swept by the M's, regardless of whether or not it's a 2 game series. The O's have given us enough trouble this season (and last!, so we need to start building some momentum for the Yankees series. If we're going to make a run at the AL East title, it starts this week.
8-1 Sox in the 4th
Ortizzle must win Mvp, if he doesn't, that is going to be sad.

Oakland just won, Yanks have already won, we can't gain any ground.
at least we didn't lose any...Originally posted by element1151@Jul 20 2004, 06:19 PM

Good win today. Mariners now become our friends because they are playing a 2 game set against the A's.
Well that was scary enough and took a long as time to finish, luckily they didnt blowe it tonight
