Correct assumption. The band's political ideology is lame, but good music is good music.

Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know. In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws, And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
Yes, I agree with you. We had this discussion about 10 or 20 pages back. Morello and De La Rocha are assbags, and all that jazz, but the music is undeniably good. Great musicians, great sound, and actually, their lyrics conflict with their political beliefs. Their lyrics sound more like they believe in anarchy, when they openly state they believe in socialism.
Anyways, enough of my dorky facts. RAtM was, and still is, awesome. One of my Big Three (3 favs of all time, with RHCP and Sublime).
I feel the same, and I do love me some RATM.Originally Posted by Keeper;517729;

Billy Joel is the tits. Piano Man was one of the first songs that I can remember where I consciously tried to memorize the lyrics.

Billy Joel is indeed the tits, as is Phil Collins/Genesis, I feel that Collins is constantly underrated, hes an amazing drummer, great writer, and AMAZING composer.

Phil Collins had some catchy songs. "That's All" is damn catchy. Also, I love that scene in American Psycho where Bale talks about Genesis with the hookers.Originally Posted by The_Destroyah;517743;

:lol: it always seems kind of dark to me, I love that song but its more ominous to me than a usual love making song.Originally Posted by bsox0407;517746;
