One of my best friends just had his baby 7 weeks early so I've been chatting with him about it. That's why I had this photo uploaded.

Here's a couple of me: 3 from Super Bowl weekend in Miami, and 1 from when I traveled to Cincy with our football team

Beautiful from the outside. That picture was taken in a little courtyard they have before the main entrance, with like 20 Reds mascots sitting on park benches. They also have a mural with a ball for every Pete Rose hit, and a little monument for the 1869 team that went unbeaten:

Really beautiful ballpark from the outside. Would love to see a game there. I walked around the downtown area from our hotel, which was right over the river in Kentucky. Gorgeous city, even at night. Would love to move there now. I also walked by where the Bengals play, but it wasn't as well lit, so I didn't go exploring, which was weird considering it was football season. They were still winless at that point, so I guess they were trying to hide their shame.

No mention of that ball Adam Dunn allegedly hit into Kentucky? That’s the stuff of legends (which it probably is)...

No way he hit it into Kentucky, not even if you count the river. The official state line is halfway across the river. That'd be at least 1000 feet from home plate, I would imagine

Probably true. Although part of the legend is the border is the shore of the river, so any ball landing in it made it to Kentucky. Still seems like a shot.

It's like when people think someone hits one off the Citgo sign at Fenway (which I've seen ESPN reporters say). That sign is like 500 yards from home plate and still 20 stories up. You couldn't get a ball from home plate to that sign if you had a drone carry it...
