    True. There's no defending that.

SOX grooming a switch hitter in WOO to play 1st base. His name is Nick Sogard. He's been hitting a ton lately at Woo. Maybe he will be brought up to replace both Smith and Dalbec.

Nice win tonight. SOX speed plays a factor again.

So Splendid our streak goes on, thanks to a couple timely hits by O'Neill and Cedanne, and a shutdown 9th by Jansen. You need to start the thread tomorrow if you want to pick it up.

Another series win to cement the team's position away from the AL East basement flat. Nice to get the sweep tomorrow.

You're doing great, Vegas. No need to fix it if it ain't broke.

Announcers said so too--and I agree with all of you.

Excellent win by the Sox. Increases their lead over the Jays, but we need the Twins to lose to gain a game on them. They are down, 5 -4, to the Rays, but delayed in the 5th inning.

    12 hits to get those 4 runs--including 3 doubles and a dinger.

Sox roster says they have 13 lineup players, and 12 of them played tonight. Wong was the odd man out.

Sogard being groomed? He’s played 1 game at 1st base in his entire minor league career.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough

A 100 mile hike starts with a single step. Sogard may be So Good, maybe not. I thought Nick the Greek was next in line at 1B ?

I still feel strongly that the SOX need a good defensive SS to help this fine pitching staff. Btw, with Duran, Rafaela, Abreu, and O'Neill the SOX have 4 outstanding defensive OF's.
Hamilton is much better defensively at 2nd base. Rafaela needs to play CF.
SOX FO go out a get a good defensive SS. That's an order.

I'm just repeating what I read from the WOO site.

    A very nice win.

To be honest, I kinda felt like it was going to be a loss.

    O'Neill has been buttah.
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

For the remainder of the season I'd prefer he be iron.

Interesting. Maybe that one game was very recently.

I know Sogard is a utility type, so he could fill a role in that regard, and the ability to play another position (I saw he’s also played some OF as well) isn’t going to hurt him.
