Thread: 6/15 Yankems @ SOX. It's a dirty job, but I'll do it.

The main difference is that the yankee ownership actually cares about winning. Obviously ours doesn’t.

Criswell almost got out of it but bloop single does him in. Now its a game again.

It could just be a team win or a team loss.

Well that didn’t take long. We are ahead by a run but losing the game.
Year after year this team has sucked. It’s getting old.

Oh thank god the Yankees scored some runs, the fun patrol hasn’t had anything to root for until now.

Ref ain't no Abreu, that's for sure.

2d inning, and Criswell is facing the Yankees order for the 2d time. And he's already thrown 60 pitches. Isn't that something?

I doubt Criswell will go 5. 59 pitches after 2 may be a record for this season's SOX.

In JH's now 22d season as the Sox owner, the Sox have won 4 WS to the Yankees 1 WS.

Or don't WS wins mean anything any more?

My take is that the Yankees are happy to spend money, but not smart about it.

Huge double by Devers, drives in 2, batting against a lefty pitcher. 5-2, Sox. This game could be a slugfest because I have little confidence in Criswell. Of course, Rodon now has 60 pitches and another batter to face.

121 total pitches in the 1st 2 innings. That has to be an MLB season record.

May have ourselves one of those 4 hour Yankem/ SOX games, even with those new clock rules.

And where have we finished the last four years?
