Thread: 6/06 SOX @ White Sox 8:10PM ET

    6/06 SOX @ White Sox 8:10PM ET

    Houck vs Woodford(RH)

    Duran
    Valdez
    Refsnyder(RF)
    Devers
    O'Neill(DH)
    Smith
    Wong
    Hamilton
    Rafaela

Anything less than 3 wins in this series would be a disappointment.

    Go SOX! (Red ones)

This series scares me a bit. A team that has lost 12 in a row is due for some different luck.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough

It does seem like a set-up, in that way.

We keep winning after we think things look bleak, then lose, when it looks like we have a chance to close the gaps.
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

The Pirates' starter just gave up 4 earned runs in the top of the 1st on 35 pitches and his last name is Falter. How appropo.

We might be seeing more and more of Mr. Refsnyder in the lineup, as moon has been requesting.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

There's gotta be 80,000 people in the stands tonight.

Not only did they start DHing him v RHPs, they jump him to the 3 slot.

I'm glad he's getting a chance. If he starts to falter, then yank him v RH'ers.

Is this the return of the '18 Red Sox ( pick your century) ? Incredible hitting against a weak oppo, but they all count. Houck getting support and should have the win , if not more. great for him, he has worked for it and deserves the accolades.

Duran about to bat for the 5th time in only the 6th inning. There's no effective adjective to accurately describe how bad this White Sox team is.

    Rafaela keeps hitting for RBIs.

5 batters have been on base 3 times in 6 innings.
    2 batters- two times
2 batters-one time, with EValdez hitting a 3-run bomb as his only hit.

    For you non-believers…

Chicago play-by-play Jason Benetti in the bottom of the sixth: Well, it’s officially a no hitter alert.

Next pitch, Sosa singles up the middle..
