The Rays just have the Sox number.

I think the Rays closer is cheating and Cora should tell the umpire so. He's using too many different pitches plus he is not charging enough per inning pitched.

Not this year. Every game has been close.

Good. Cora did make an issue about that pitcher or the manager or somebody. I'm a good lip reader and I think it was about "too many different pitches."

Finally, maybe we can get a level playing field. Jansen only uses one pitch, so the other side should too.

What in the wide, wide world of sports is going on? Are they discussing Cora's complaint with MLB headquarters? This is just crazy.

Why is this happening? The whole limitation on mound visits was intended to speed the game up. Make a judgment and move on.
"Fans have become more entitled than anything. So they're starting to question our motives for the game, or how we approach the game. The ones that do question -- like who are you? Just shut up and watch the game tonight." --Kevin Durant on players' lack of effort in regular season games.

Apparently, Cora wanted to force the Rays to change pitchers. Is that right?

Good news: SOX score 5 runs. Amazing.
Bad news: SOX descending fast to reclaim their basement apartment.

We are losing too many winnable games like this one.

We need to turn it around quickly.

    Fair enough.

Whoever said O'Neill is flaming out just might have a point.

Sox lose 7-5 while give up 2 unearned runs. Tonight it was Rafaela with his 8th error. The kid has range, but . . .

I'm going back to my old line, but it's never been truer than now:

The Sox are 1and 6 against AL East teams, which augurs poorly for the remaining games against the division.
They will be under .500 soon, and likely stay there with this popgun offense and leaky defence .

Bloom got fired , probably for thinking the 2023/24 Sox needed a $16million closer. I would payout his remaining contract amount in July to move him for just 1 decent pitching prospect .

Griossom sucked even when he wasn't available. Makes you appreciate Valdez who rarely , but more than once got a big hit.
