Houck did, but I did not hear much talk of trading or extending him.
The big issue with Duran, fairly or unfairly, was not going after the ball when his play in centerfield was awful. That really hurt his reputation.
I write fictional stories in my spare time. So don't fact check me. Better?

Teel will not be a perennial all star.

Not sure how Campbell's swing will keep him going over the long haul. Will be interesting to watch.

If Hamilton starts as a DH instead of Yoshida, how will that limit Cora if a lefty comes in relief?

I guess I am saying Hamilton with hot bat should be playing over Yoshida.

    Ref should, too.

DHam is not great vs LHPs, so PH for him, sometimes.
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

It’s more of a European thing I think. I noticed the same thing in Italy a few years ago.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough

Well, this really goes beyond my point, which is no one really knows. Including me, you, and the Red Sox.

If I was going by the Soxprospects scouting reports, and I DO, I’d 100% agree with your statement. But they’d be the first ones to tell you that they can get it wrong. You can’t predict a humans future.

To be fair though, Schilling wouldn’t become the pitcher we remember for 4 or 5 years after that trade. He did nothing for Baltimore or Houston before landing with the Phils.

Boddicker did pretty well for the Sox, going 39-22 with a 3.49 ERA in his 2 1/2 years in Boston and helped win 2 division titles.

Agreed. Teel could end up the best of all.

Casas will go back to hitting this week. Hendriks throws his first bullpen today.

I mean, my money is still on Mayer/Anthony but yes....that permutation of the future certainly exists.

Anthony has the highest ceiling. Teel probably has the highest floor. All three are very good prospects with things that need to be worked on.

Well put, good summation. I agree.

Fenway has the highest wall. Most likely to clear it -- born in Tennessee, like Mookie, schooled at Georgia Tech, like Tek and Nomar, nicknamed Barry Bonds by his more-hyped teammates: Earl Kristian Campbell!

Possibly. My last time in Europe was 30+ years ago. Since then, I think the USA has made a concerted effort to make smoking expensive via taxes. I'm not sure the Europeans have.
