Lavarnway didn't even make it up the hill to fall off a cliff. C'mon now. Wikelman was never even a top 100 prospect.

Ryan Kalish was no Craig Hansen.

There is enough volume to make this kind of thing a full time website on its own..

Also, why the RIP for Kalish? Does it stand for “Remain In Pawtucket”?

Kalish's shoulder was never the same after diving for the ball in Pawtucket. It basically was the long slow end of his career. If he was in Boston, it would have never happened.

Kalish was the #1 prospect in the system for several quarters and had a higher career bWAR than Hansen.

Tell that to John Henry who is banking on them.

That’s the point. Duran did not have a good stretch when many wanted to trade him.

Houck did, but I did not hear much talk of trading or extending him.
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

they had one but they traded him for an infielder that can't hit or keep from getting hurt.

Well, you have fail with your Middlebrooks and your Swiharts to get to your Bogaerts and Betts.

Maybe Mayer is a complete bust but Campbell ends up being a perennial allstar along with Teel. Who knows.

Who was the reliever we drafted who was hyped to step right out the college world series and into the big leagues by mid-summer?

Felton something? Not the 99 chick from Get Smart -- she didn't even work at 99 (definitely not Hooters)...

Out of the big 4, I think 3 make it big, but probably 2 is more likely than all 4 doing well.

This team needs Casas and a right handed DH that can fill in at 3B/1B. Hopefully Grissom can realize his full potential and maybe platoon with Hamilton.
I write fictional stories in my spare time. So don't fact check me. Better?
