Assuming no roster additions and the loss of Pivetta, Jansen, Martin, Anderson, O'Neill, Cooper & Smith, this might be the 2025 26 and 40 man roster:

    26
SP: Houck, Gio, Bello, Crawford, Whitlock/Criswell/Fitts
RP: Hendriks, Slaten, Bernardino, Weissert, Fulmer, Wink, 2 from Whit/Cris/Fitts
    C: Wong & McGuire (Teel?)
    1B: Casas
    2B: Grissom & DHam
    SS: Story & Romy (Mayer?)
    3B: Devers
    LF: Duran (CF)
    CF: Rafaela (SS/2B) (Anthony?)
    RF: Abreu (CF/LF) (Anthony?
    DH: Yoshida & Refsnyder (LF/RF)

The 40 (14 in the minors)
SP: Perales, Wikelman, Bastardo (Rule 5)
RP: I Campbell, Kelly, Booser, Guerrero (Rule 5) or (Mata/Uwasawa/Horn?)
C: Teel (?not rule 5) or Jh. Garcia (Rule 5) or Heineman
1B/3B: Dalbec or Kavadas (Rule 5)
IF: Mayer (not Rule 5) & Yorke (Rule 5)
OF: Anthony (not Rule 5) & Castro and or Lugo (both Rule 5)

When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

I know they get more behind the scenes information, so I wonder what is different from '22 to '23 to '24? I've asked specific questions about players to them in the past and they haven't really addressed it.

    Speaking of age 22...

    Sox top prospects by ages:

    18: Cespedes 6, Arias 21
    19: Zanetello 8, Jo Garcia 18
    20: Anthony 1, Bleis 5 (missed time), E R-C 16
    21: Mayer 2, Perales 4, K Campbell 10, Castor 12, Paulino 14
    22: Teel 3, Meidroth 11, Lugo 13, Wikelman 15, Yorke 17
    23: Sandlin 9

Looks like a pretty good mix.

RED= ML Ready or should be by 2025.
With how Perales is throwing, did you consider making him red?

I did, but thought more likely Sept '25 at the earliest.

    No issue with thinking 2025.

Adjustments to his swing have catapulted Kristian Campbell on a fast-path -- like outfield teammate Roman Anthony, Campbell is now in Portland, but with a year of college ball under his belt.

Campbell is 22 and bats right-handed. Anthony is 20 and bats left-handed. The Red Sox are no rush to promote Anthony, their #1 prospect, until he masters his current level; at this point would it be surprising if Campbell progresses to Boston first?

We finally have RHB looking good, on the farm.

    Fitts had a bad game:
    5.1 IP, 4H 4ER 5BB 4K
Besides Yorke's granny, Yoshida went 1-3 w BB

POR won, but Wikelman is looking like burnt toast:
    4.1, 7H, 7ER, 3BB and just 1K
Anthony and K Campbell both went 2-4 (Anthony HR'd)
    Mayber 1-3 w BB

GRE won as Rogers got lit up.
Coffey went 3-5 w his dinger
    Romero 2-4 w BB

    SAL won as Dean pitched a gem: 5.0, 0H, 0ER, 1BB, 8K

Campbell, a college grad, is almost a full 2 years older than Roman. I'm not sure of any swing adjustments that he made this season. Something about his swing reminds me of Hunter Pence.

Interesting to see Yorke hit so well in AAA. SoxProspects stated that his underlying metrics in AA weren't very good so he was really in a rough stretch before getting the call up.

12.43 ERA the past 3 starts for Wikelman. Injury?

It is nice to see, but rather a small sample size.

We could sure use a big RHB in the bigs.
