No one can, but that doesn’t make it right, or change anything, and it was very obvious why it was done, and why it was pointed out. If you haven’t done it then I haven’t done it either.

    You're absolutely right

In that case, 2021 doesn't count either due to limited fan attendence and constant COVID IL stints for players. Maybe can't count 2022 due to mandated vaccinations that caused certain players to be ineligible at times.

I get what you're saying here, but I think these things are astronomically different. A player missing a week here and there is so much different than the entire freaking league only playing 1/3 of games.

It's not that 2020 doesn't matter, but it comes with a huge asterik. That's just the way it is.

The sham comments were about the Sox FO. My opinion has not changed on that, at all.

I expected us to finish better than2023 and near .500.

I was excited about watching the Sox from day one, but did not expect a playoff shot.

The guy calling me out bashed me for having fun watching the 2024 team in April and May.
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

#1 I wasn’t the one who called you out, but I did think it was funny you doing your Cindy Lauper impression. 🙈🤭

Exactly, but we will never know what contract Bogey would have said yes to any any given time.

I wanted Bogey back; my point was only that not getting him back does not look as bad as it did in March, due to this bad half season.

Same with the Betts trade. It still sucks. Big time! But Wong is at least giving us more than Downs.

The Beni trade looks better now than at the time.

Even the Renfroe trade is now showing some returns.

You brought stink, and stench up to Maine with you, and it still hasn’t all cleared out yet from So. Maine since you left. The guy that hides behind a curtain and cries wolf, or in your case stalking. Sad, but true.

Sale 2017-18 in Boston was dominant
You make that trade any day of the week

18 playoff’s 15 IP 24 K , not the dominant Sale but he slammed the door on LA and is a Champion

Mistake was the contract extension from DD but that is for another thread

Injuries and age took its toll, was it time to move on? Absolutely

Far as compensation, again, where is the pitching? Yorke a high pick on the verge of a call up, why Grissom ?

End of day, Sale a champion

And yes those are the facts and the facts are undisputed

There are 8 or 9 players with a better OPS than Yorke, and Yorke sucks on D.

    Those are the undisputed facts.

I know it was. They played the games, so of course they have to count them and the season. But to me it was a sham season.

If you have a prospect arm close to MLB ready, you aren't trading him for an potential ticking time bomb in Sale. Those are the facts and the facts are undisputed.
