We should have an idea soon enough, Anderson and Zanetello reportedly are both going above slot. Those top 3 picks probably take up around 8 million. Leaving 1.5 million for Duffy and Reimer, if those guys sign at slot that gives you enough to throw 600K at Call.
Is that enough? doesn't sound like it but it could be because we don't know his asking price. If someone comes in lower, or on of their 2/3rd picks don't sign they can jus throw 1.5 2 million at him, or if both Zanetello and Anderson get over 2 million there just won't be any money left over for him.
I don't see them missing out on either guy. Jud was a unique case. He fell far in the draft and still wanted top tier money. They have enough for the guys they drafted in the top 10 rounds. Call just may want to go to UCLA and hope to get a big paycheck in a few years.

When you say it's gonna happen now
When exactly do you mean?
@SPChrisHatfield
My guess (hope?) is we get a draft signing announcement for most of the Red Sox class today. Seems everyone is putting pen to paper who's in Ft. Myers. In theory, they could wait for Teel and Zanetello, the latter having told @ChrisCotillo he's signing tomorrow.
@ChrisCotillo
I think a release is coming today. Teel BP likely today at Fenway
This is what Mike Andrews posted at SoxProspects today:

After 10th round, above $150K
None projected right now but not out of the question.
After 10th round, possible $150K or less signs (count $0 towards cap)
11. Nelly Taylor - in FTM, signing imminent
12. Max Carlson
13. Cade Feeney (signed for $150k)
14. Jojo Ingrassia - expected to sign
16. Isaac Stebens - expected to sign
18. Zach Fogell - expected to sign
19. Stanley Tucker - expected to sign
Total spent towards cap using these projections: $10,651,200
Red Sox Cap: $10,295,100
Red Sox Cap +5%: (no draft pick penalty): $10,809,855
Super wicked early projected not to sign
15. Phoenix Call
17. Dylan Schlaegel
20. Robert Orloski
If Mike's numbers are right, Call, Schlaegel and Orloski won't sign.
Currently, all picks are signed except for Riemer, Call, Schlaegel, Orloski. The 3 HS guys are most likely not going to sign. "Sources" have indicated that Riemer will sign before the deadline (Tuesday 5pm), that the hold up was just logistics of getting him to either Boston or the Fort. If he signs, it seems like it's another strong hitter focused draft.
