No, it is not the mark of a bad team.

Kansas City is on a pace to go 47-115. They are not even the worst team in MLB, the A's are on a pace to go 31-131. Those are bad teams.

The Sox are average, not bad. We need to see what happens once Duvall and Story get back.

They will probably finish 5-6 games over ,500 (absent massive injuries). It wouldn't shock me to see the whole division over .500.

I like your positivity, but in the context of the Red Sox, a team that doesn't make the playoffs is a bad team in my humble opinion.
