Good golly, miss molly!!! Two dingers by Devers, who very possibly came to play tonight.

Check back to the first post, mine, in which I said the Padres will have a big edge in pitching tonight.

When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

Devers is very good at baseball, but if he were bit more consistent, he would be a HOF.

But we all knew that, didn't we?

I really, really like Bogaerts, who was in on two of the Sox World Series wins. But the money was too much for a guy his age.

I'd rather have one Devers to two Bogeys.

We gave the $$$ to the right guy.
I write fictional stories in my spare time. So don't fact check me. Better?

I was one of the few against his resigning. Looking Story and Bogaerts today, I regret a bit. Story has turned into a totally disaster. Xander at least is most of the times healthy. Thing with Xander was always his glove.

Since age 22, his "off season" was the short 2020 year, and he still hit .793.

In the other 3 seasons, he's been between .879 and .916. He's at .876, now.

He can get streaky, but overall, his seasons look remarkably consistent.

Check his seasons with the SOX. I'd say he's been pretty damn consistent. I also believe he's leading the league in RBI.

Paxton is pitching well. So far so good despite giving up a HR.

He's been throwing an 'easy' 96.
