May 12th Cardinals @ Red Sox

Paxton finally gets his first start for the Sox.

Wainwright gets his 392nd with the Cards. (He's had 9 seasons with 31 or more GS'd, including 2019, 2021 and 2022. (He had 10 starts in 2020.)

We'll see the dynamic lefty line-up for this one.
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

8 righty bats in Cards lineup—including 2 switch hitters.

Guffman has finally arrived. Was it worth the wait? Stay tuned.

I have Paxton down for about 3 innings and 3 runs. Knowing it will take a few starts to get in full time pitching mode. Just don't get blasted in the first.

I do note that he will try it tonight left-handed, so there's that

2 outs, 2 strike count and Paxton shows the Red Sox way is imprinted. Most of his pitches have been up and that result was somewhat predictable

Paxton's arm is fine, but, as expected, location in strike zone is off. All in all, better than I expected.
Btw, Wainwright has been a terrific pitcher his whole career.

Why doesn't NESN run the Red Sox Foundation promo during the inter-inning breaks instead of during what passes for game action?

After only the 2nd inning and Wainwright's already made two best friends.

The cardinals are not a good team. Gotta find a way and hit this team.

Goldschmidt may be the best RH hitter in MLB.

Actually, they are better than their current record and will probably end up making the PO's.
