Sox tonight are giving every indication they can lose 8 in a row as easily as they won 8 in a row.

With Yoshida, Duran, and Verdugo in the outfield, Kike plays infield or not at all. Duvall is probably going to replace Duran.

I think it’s more likely Casas or Valdez gets the hook and Turner plays more 1B/2B while the outfielders alternate DH. Duran is playing way too well to take out of the lineup.

Take his ass off the game already!
He has no problem throwing strikes because that's what the Braves are hitting. His problem he can't hit corners. Most of his strikes have been right down the middle.

Well, he made up for that.

Half of them or so have been balls.

Pivetta usually settles down after a couple of early bad innings.

Whatever. To me all these future lineups are sand castles.

Yeah! you don't let that bat on the bench.

Kike is a utility player, not a titular in my book. Wonder whether Valdez or Arroyo can play SS.

Don't you mean "after the game is given away?" Atlanta's up 5-0 and their pitching is better than Philly's.

Never been a big fan of Pivetta. But he will start 33 times for us.

    Oh goodie.
I write fictional stories in my spare time. So don't fact check me. Better?

It's inevitable that MLB teams cool off offensively during parts of the season and then it becomes the responsibility of the pitching staff to carry the load.

Valdez isn’t much of a defender and only has 17 minor league innings at SS

He's an 'innings eater.' Usually what pitchers are called when there's nothing else positive to say about them.
