We got shellacked here with the plants during that week long winter storm named snowmaggeddon a couple months ago. I lost almost everything that was planted outside. And anything that is left, like large bushes and plants, have been cut down to the roots and show only bits of green suggesting they may come back.
I did score two passion vine starters a month ago from a neighbor. One died, the other one looks strong and I need to transplant it to where I hope it will live a long time and grow and cover a fence.
The jasmine plants are about to go wild with flowers. Tons of buds on them. I think they are waiting for a couple of days of sun and they are going to explode with flowers.
If you like gardening. This is the fun part of the year.
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
