No Betts. I wonder how his side feels?

According to what I read, Cora did have Betts in the starting line-up, but decided to sit him because of the soggy field conditions.

So he rather put JD there?

Mookie is nursing an injury. JD is not.

Yeah, JD is a decent RF, but if the field conditions is the reason and Betts is heathy, I think Betts can handle it better without getting injured.

Yankems will be motivated because of their fight with the A's for HF advantage.

Since the Yankems acquired Happ in late July, he's been their best starter. Hopefully, he's due for a bad start tonight. As for Eovaldi, he's a complete question mark.

Even though Cora said he thought Mookie would DH tonight, I'm really not the least bit surprised that he's not in the line up. Why take that risk when there's no need?

Agreed. He needs to be 100% and then rest him 2 additional days before trotting him out there.

Seems like Judge is back and we are not going with Betts an Benny.

Hopefully we clinch the division in this series.

No Betts tonight in the lineup and with Nathan pitching. Likely a loss. But hope for the best.
