That game was beyond crazy. A thriller but also kind of ugly. Like a sandlot game.

Home run records being shattered all over the place.

I can't help thinking the ball is juiced and that is kind of tainting the whole thing.

That was an epic game. Pitcher's duel, not so much, but epic game nonetheless. Neither team has any quit in them. I will actually feel bad for whichever team loses.

If I were a fan of either team, I don't think I would survive the emotional roller coaster. LOL

This is what happens when dudes keep diggin' the long ball so much.

But yeah, if the balls are indeed juiced, which it seems they are, it kind of taints the whole thing. We've gone from juiced players to juiced balls.

It's been a fun series to watch that's for sure. Only thing I hope for if my team doesn't make the World Series is that whoever is playing each other makes it exciting. The World Series last year and this year have been a joy to watch.

Best game I've ever seen, not counting epic Sox wins.

Kind of crazy when a manager feels he cannot trust his closer with a three run lead in the ninth. Also , why is Liriano on the roster if he can't even be trusted to get a left handed hitter out ? Houston better hope for a complete game from Verlander. Their bullpen is loaded with chokers.

They can use Morton or McCullers (whoever is not the game 7 starter) and even Keuchel, if needed.

Couldn't watch it--school night--but agree with your thoughts anyway. Agree especially with "will actually feel bad for whichever team loses."

The deeper the knife goes into the heart of the Dodgers the better I feel. I relish watching that knife twist. I hope their players cry. I do feel bad for for Dave Roberts. I like him a lot, and he holds a special place in my heart.

I feel the same way. I can't say anything bad about Roberts. Every time I hear him speak I am impressed by how he is such a nice and intelligent man. Articulate, too.

However, I can't stand anything LA and if the movie Escape from LA came to pass I would not cry.

Fuck LA and all their part time fans.

    GO STROS!!11!!!
"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.

"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."

Definitely one of the best WS games of all time. That was stressful to watch and I'm not even a fan of either team.

    - From the 2004 ALCS Game 4 Gamethread. A reminder that no game is over until the final out is recorded, and things will always get better. Misspellings unchanged as a reminder that Yankees fans are just terrible.

Wouldn't someone have leaked proof if it was? I think it's more likely that everyone's been swinging for the fences so much more this season.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

And that has to be in the Top 5 all time World Series games, right?
