Rodriguez needs a good game. He pretty much has been awful since coming back from the DL.
I think anyone who expects big things from ERod now or in the future is fooling themselves with wishful thinking.
The kid is a fucking hammerhead. He has a limited repertoire and no wipe out or put away pitch.
He throws way to many pitches and can not go deep.
He has what could be a career altering and maybe ending damaged knee that will always be a concern even after he gets the knife.
Benny Boy gave up Miller for a young starter with upside. Three years later he has not pitched a good full season and appears to be more concerned with his haircut that his curve ball.
He is a number 4 or 5 until this team jettisons his ass.

"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.
"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
I agree that if Ben had required Miller at the end of the season it would have been a good trade.
One could say the same thing about sending Lester to Oakland if he had been resigned as well.
The Miller trade is better than either the Smith or Thornberg trades to date.
But ERod has contributed very little and it is MY OPINION that he is nothing more than a tease and will end up being a drain for this team.
It's okay in one way. Every team needs a 5 or 6 starter. That is what he will be.

Friday night! Unable to watch the game as I will be out but hopefully their red jerseys bring them luck tonight in a 4th straight win.
Fun fact.... I have yet to see a game where the Sox play in their alt jerseys...... That is all.
Would love an early lead. 16 pitches for ERod in the first inning.
That was too damn quick. I hope Rodriguez has good stuff
