Beni should play everyday. #firefarrell
Benintendi is smart...he went up there to hit. He knew Price was behind him with 2 outs......he needs to stay in the line up....live with it.
Beni is a keeper. He has a sweet stroke. With some time a younger copy of Jacoby Ellsbury. I get him in the line up as much as possible.
Its pretty sad when you get pulled from the game when the teams opposing pitcher is up lol.
What's the name of that Clint Eastwood movie, "Trouble with the Curve"? That defines this year's Red Sox. Except, apparently, for the rookie leftfielder who seems quite comfortable hitting a curve.
Bogaerts looked awful in his at bat and had three straight fastballs, one of which he watched go over the middle of the plate, one of which he swung at and missed when it was way inside, and the third pitch was fat, right down the middle, which he fouled away. Finally, finally he got his pitch, a curve well below the zone he could tap into an easy GIDP.
We're in the 4th inning and have two hits, both by the rookie Benintendi. If it weren't for those five walks, this would be a scoreless tie.
So do you think they'll keep Benintendi up on the team when Young comes off the DL or will they ship him down to Pawtucket where he can play every day and get additional seasoning?
Is this the time Price shits the bed. He needed to have a shut down inning after they scored one.
Somebody will be DL or Brentz will be sent down to make room for Young. Just a guess.
